Poetry: "Clean Water"

  CLEAN WATER

If clean water was gold,

We'd save it or hide it until we got old.

Instead we use it recklessly on things that don't grow,

Like washing cars, leisurely bubble baths or a private swimming hole.

This life giving natural resource is essential to sustain life.

People, animals, plants and trees must have it to survive.

Without water everything dies and that includes you and me.

Use every drop of water consciously and purposefully

or tomorrow it will not be.
